Brief:

To develop the Splashboy logo from pencil drawings provided by the client.
To design and deliver a 'blogging' website with email newsletter functionality for the daily delivery of surf reports from the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Solutions:

After tracing and colouring the logo, illegal chose to enhance the surfing theme of the website by adding extra graphics which frame the logo and give it a more 'surfboard-like' solid form.
illegal chose the Wordpress Content Management System to deliver the main functional requirements of the brief. Wordpress contains an excellent photo gallery module and a sophisticated email template editor. Ease of use for the client was also a major priority.
